So...here's a mushed together list of very interesting blog posts, not in any particular order, but worth checking out.
- "Thanks Tampa Bay Library Consortium": Michael Stephens of Tame the Web was at TBLC to present "The Hyperlinked Library" to their annual meeting on November 7th. (His slideshow is linked from his post. Warning: it's a 70.23 MB PDF file!)
- Speaking of it's-November...etc...multitasking...etc...stress-induced...etc., on November 7th, NEFLIN made available a fine online course from College of DuPage Programs called "Reverse the Ratchet: Basic Technology Adoption Strategies for Library Workers." Stephanie Race told me this is a good remedy for it's-November...etc.... Read her blog post and request the link to the recording or the DVD or videotape.
- Sarah Houghton-Jan of Librarian in Black links to a New York Times blog post by David Pogue, "Tech Tips for the Basic Computer User." Sarah and David are both worth adding to your RSS newsreader subscriptions.
- Swiss Army Librarian Brian Herzog has a useful review of different online polling options.
- And, just for fun, Peter Morville of findability.org posted this last month: Tag Galaxy.
